About me

I have always found great meaning in connecting with others and understanding their values and motivations. This led me to my life-long passion for travel and engaging with people from different cultures and communities and finding ways to connect despite language or cultural differences. I found that I wanted to use this curious part of myself in a way that I could help people. I bring this curiosity and empathy into the therapy room and my intention is to support others so that they may find a better understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their goals in life as well as ways to implement them effectively.

My approach

My approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative, involving various techniques from psychodynamic, relational, feminist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and attachment-based theories to support you in your journey. I believe that collaboration is essential and that by working together, we can find ways to enhance your growth, build your resilience, and promote your strengths. I also tend to bring humor and playfulness into the therapy space – life is about many moods and expressions. I also have a focus in working with gender and sexual diversity and can assist individuals and families with navigating the coming out and/or transition process and intersectional identities.
